Mercedes at the Detroit Auto Show
Four days into the Detroit Machine Prove and it'south Mercedes plow to exist featured on our blog. Every bit we mentioned yesterday, we will feature some of BMW'southward competitors along with their latest concepts or any interesting vehicles that were displayed in Detroit.
It was Audi's turn yesterday with their beautiful R8 and Sportback Concept, so shortly after, nosotros featured the Mercedes-Benz BlueZero Concept, their latest electric vehicle, a direct competitor to the Mini East.
Then, what did Mercedes-Benz have in display beside the BlueZero Concept? Well, the beautiful high-terminate Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Blackness Series powered by a twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 engine producing 661 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. And of class, it comes with a hefty price tag: $300,000.
Then, we take seen the odd-looking Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR Stirling Moss powered past a 5.4L V8 Supercharged engine that makes a total of 650-hp. 0-62 mph comes in iii.5 seconds with a pinnacle speed of 217 mph.
And of course the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, 626 hp coming from the AMG V8 compressor engine, which is coupled to an AMG Speedshift R five-speed automatic manual, accelerates the SLR from 0-62 mph in 3.viii seconds.
Pretty good car testify for Mercedes, especially since they brought in nearly of their high-end vehicles. Non a big fan of MB, just I have to paw it to them for designing those supersport cars.
